FLORAL BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT

I designed Lexie's birth announcement many months ago now, and I am still handing out to friends and family. So slack, but this is real life!
I think if I'd waited to have professional photos taken etc, then they'd still be in the making, so I guess I'm thankful for that, and better late than never right?!

I can't believe she is 5 months old already! If you follow me on Instagram you can see how big and chubby she's getting. Such a fun age! She even had her first taste of real food today...(mummy detail!). This three kids thing has been a juggling act, but I'm loving that we're getting into a better groove now. Yay.

BRANDED LOGO STICKERS

I've been working hard at updating my shop with heaps of new items. Still lots of products to add as I get the time, but I'm really happy with how it's looking, some old, some new. NAUTICAL BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT

I recently designed this nautical birth announcement for some friends who had a little boy. They nearly didn't get birth announcments done because they didn't want them to be too feminine. I considered it a success when this little guys dad was won over!
You might not be able to see in the photos, but I printed these on a really lush matte card stock. And I have now added printing as an add-on option for any of my designs. It's been so inspiring to get back to my graphic design & printing roots!

I have add this nautical design as well as a shield design in my shop. I hope to add some more birth announcement designs as time allows.

GLUTEN & ALLERGY FOOD PICKS :: SHOP NEWS

I mentioned last week that I have recently found out I have some food allergies. It's a little depressing, I'll admit, but I am determined it not to let the joy of food be lost and hosting parties can still happen! So  please enter my latest shop addition - the Allergy Food Pick

These are new to my shop, can be shipped world wide. 
There are two pack options: 

Gluten Free 12 pk
Allergy Free Mixed 12 pk (inclues two of each; sugar, dairy, gluten, wheat, nut & egg free)

If you are a fellow party host-er, or a creator of beautiful dessert tables, you will most likely be aware of the unfortunate increase in food allergies. With these food picks you need not fear! These allergy alerts will add to your food display and make it really clear to your guests which foods are a-ok to enjoy!

EASTER EGG HUNT TREAT BAGS

Easter would have to be my favourite holiday of the year. Christmas is fun with the build up, and the festivities, but there is just something special about Easter.
The significance of Jesus' sacrifice and relationship with me comes into full focus at this time. As well as the memory and carrying on of strong traditions we had growing up; of hot cross buns with friends on Good Friday, and waking up to baskets of eggs by our bed on Easter Sunday...and not to mention the added bonus of a super-long weekend! :)

I'm going to put up my Easter tree this week, and I have a couple of crafts I've bought things for, I just need to make the time to get messy with my kids (crafting is so much tidier on your own, wouldn't you agree?).

Anyway, I've added some pretty little bags to the shop just in time for Easter. They would be perfect for an Easter egg hunt. I'm going to use these for my neighbours. Just fill them with Eggs and hang them on the front door. Cute!

Thanks to those of you who have made enquiries or orders recently. It's because of some feedback and requests that I've decided that, for now at least, I'll go back to selling printables. I'll re-evaluate again in the new year, so for now...it's premium printables in the shop! Good news for all my loyal overseas folks.

You won't find these designs anywhere else. They're all original. No knock-off's. Designed by me, a professional graphic designer, using professional programs, fonts and techniques. No publisher or Word set ups here! All designs still come personalised with your details and complete with printing instructions. So it's super easy to get great looking stationery. And I'm always on the other end of an email if you have any questions.

NEW IN THE SHOP!

I've just added two more colours to the Treat Sticks collection. Pink & Purple polkadots, are versatile for heaps of different occasions. You can find all the treat sticks in my shop!

PRETTY FOOD PICKS :: SHOP NEWS

These pretty food picks are another items that's new in my shop that I'm really thrilled to share with you today!
They're simple, but I like to have stuff like this on hand for those last minute birthday morning teas, or easy dessert as well as the formal gatherings. As a graphic designer, I'm fortunate that I can whip up or print something out the afternoon of a party. But realising that not every mum is able to do this, I wanted something in my shop that you can have on hand to whip out at a moments notice. Designs that are perfect for boys, girls and even grown ups, they're priced so that you could grab a few to have on hand no matter the occasion!

PRETTY TREAT STICKS :: SHOP OPEN!

Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

I have some wonderful news this morning and that is....my shop is open! Hooray!
If you think it's looking a little scaled back, you would be right. (I made some comments on this on Friday.) There are still items being added as I get the time to take photos & upload etc. But you can browse and purchase to your hearts content (and I hope you do!)

The one product I am most excited about are these pretty treat sticks. Doesn't your mind just get all creative about how they could be used for a party, wedding, or holiday get together?! They are perfect for a baker like me. I am a champagne taste on a beer budget kind-a-girl, and I love how even store bought cookies get the all star treatment with these cute sticks! SHOP RE-OPENING!

Well, good news! My shop will be opening again on Monday! I've been working on a couple of new things that I think you'll like and I can't wait to share them.

After some time out it's given me time to re-assess my work-life balance, and also get back to the parts of this business that I'm most passionate about. And that for me is graphic design and printed paper goods. I've always felt a little tension selling printables as I had no control over the final outcome of my designs. My name was on something that may not look awesome and I had no say in that.

// SO....there is one big change...
My stationery designs are no longer printable, but printed for you! Collections and range have been scaled down, but now when you make a purchase, that is all it will cost - no extra printing fees, it's all included!

// I also have a couple of new non- stationery products that will support my stationery and help you host your own creative events for those you love.

I'm really excited and I hope that you will pop back here on Monday for all the opening goodness!

PRETTY TREAT STICKS & NEW IDEAS

Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend.

While my shop is on a little holiday, I'm really taking the time to re-assess my work/life balance.
I'm looking at things with a whole new perspective which has been lovely. I'm brainstorming ideas, maybe even a new name (gasp!), I've got the glue gun out more than normal, and I'm getting hands on an back to the crafting that I really love.

So consider this a happy warning that things might be changing around here in the coming months...for the better I think. Lots of fun new party ideas, products in the shop and more of me, which I think has been missing.

SHERBET + LICORICE DIP

You may have noticed, I've put my shop on holidays for the next couple of weeks. I've enrolled in a photography course as a little bit of personal development, and to give myself some space to fill my own creative tank. Time to design and create just for the pure enjoyment of it. I'm loving it so far!

My first self-directed projects to photograph was inspired by my own childhood. When I was a kid, we had 'lolly day' each Saturday morning. Introduced to condense my dad's love of brining home lollies, to just one day a week, it became a huge tradition in our house to have our lollies when we'd done our weekend jobs. One of our favourites were Wizz Fizzes with a stick of licorice. We'd lick and dip till there was no more sherbet left to dip!

Anyone else remember Wizz Fizzes? :) I have my doubts that there is anyone else in the world who might have similar childhood memories, but if you would like this packaging as a free download, please leave a comment below with your email and I'll send it to you!

NEW PRODUCT! :: MINI TRAVEL GAMES

While designing a new DIY I got a little carried away and created a new product for my shop especially for you.

I'm always thinking of ideas to occupy little people when travelling. I think theses mini tic tac toe sets are a winner for little people on the go. You could use these for party favours or birthday gifts, or give to a child about to head off on an adventure. I know I really appreciated friends who gave Levi gifts for the plane when we flew here to Canada. Or why not keep in your handbag for dr's waits, cafe visits or just 'bored' moments! I think grown up's would secretly enjoy playing these too!

I have kicked this range off with my space and ice cream designs, but I'll see how they go and might add more designs if they're popular. Each bag contains it's own board and two designs of tic tac toe pieces which  have velcro on the back so they stay put when your kids are playing on the go, and then they pack up all cute in their own little bag.

Don't you think they would come in handy?

SHOP NEWS :: ANTIQUE FLORAL STATIONERY

I'm really excited for this new collection of party stationery I've just added to my shop. You might remember seeing it in action on these DIY gift bags.

The standard of what I put in my shop has to pass the "would I use it myself?" bench mark, and this Antique Floral design passes with flying colors! I think they're perfect for a birthday, kitchen tea, bridal or baby shower... I'm looking forward to seeing what events you use these designs for!
I originally designed this for a friend in Australia as a parting gift, so that her next birthday without me physically there would still have a little bit of me in it.
I printed all the items out and put together a party pack for her. (Anything packaged in a box looks more appealing to me!)
Have you ever sent a friend a party in a box for a celebration of some kind? Graduation, shower, birthday, anniversary...wouldnt it be fun to open that box and know someone was thinking of you? Its something I'd really like to make more time and do more often!

CAKE POPS FOR CHARITY

On the weekend I baked, crumbed, mixed, rolled, covered & decorated some cake pops for a a dessert auction at church.
I haven't built up my baking supplies yet, so the actual pops are quite plain. So, to spice them up a little, I added some washi tape to the sticks and made a little flag on each to decorate. I'm no Bakerella, but I think they turned out quite cute. And this box of goodies raised $40 for the cause! Not bad for some cake on a stick! : )
The washi tape sticks actually have me really excited, I want to make more! I wonder if you would like to see some in the shop for food picks, cake pops etc? Would you, would you?? (Please say yes!)

"PERFECT PAIR" TWIN BABY SHOWER STATIONERY :: SHOP NEWS

I've had a couple of recent requests for this Perfect Pair stationery I designed for my sisters twin baby shower (something in the water perhaps?!)
I hadn't realised that with the shop changeover, it wasn't moved over to Etsy. So, I added it yesterday, which means you can now view and purchase this collection in my shop.

I've also just added the 'Flying High' square labels I used for these travel pouches. I've had a heap of interest in these and have finally updated them to the shop! You can find the buffet labels here & the party dots I used for the iron-on transfer here.
