CELEBRATE A FIND :: Create-a-Jelly

I am starting to collect supplies for Levi's 2nd birthday next month, and in my stockpiling of jelly, I came across this neat product.
Yep, it's as simple as it sounds - 'Just add your favourite drink'. You could do the healthy fruit juice jelly...the 'sparkling' juice jelly...Gatorade jelly...
Some eye catching packaging of pretty much an old school idea - clever!

By the way, I am not sponsored by Aeroplane Jelly in any way! (that would be nice! :) I often see things that just make me think parties and events, so want to pass them on!

Also, in cupcake news, the new design will be ready for purchase online tomorrow....Here are a couple of photos from my amateur photo shoot today...I think I might just stick to designing for the next few months...they really are a lot of work!
And what do you think of these little guys? I had a 'moment' when walking past fairy floss, thinking of this new cupcake design (ice cream and cake totally go together in my mind!). I just need a stainless steel ice cream cone stand...
Till tomorrow then...

CELEBRATE A FIND :: Sugar Swizzle Sticks

Following on from the High Tea feature yesterday, I wanted to share a little find I stumbled across at none other than...the local Aldi. They always seem to have random things for sale there which draw me in form time to time. And that's when I found these sugar swizzle sticks! Cute eh?
I have seen larger versions of these on many a dessert tables. These are quite small - maybe 1-2tsps of crystal looking sugar. I bought them for only about $3 for 10. Not for the everyday cup of tea, but I could totally use these next time I have a girls night! 'Swizzle' Away!!

CELEBRATE A FIND :: Sweet Cupcake Stands

I came across these gorgeous little cupcake stands via Amy Atlas today, and I think they are a simply stunning idea to give a little 'lift' the ever popular cupcake.
Created by Hello Hanna, they are so reasonably priced & made from recycled, embossed card. They are pretty enough to use straight from the packet or you could add some decorations of your own!
Unfortunately, us Australians, we will have to petition for international shipping...or find them locally! (If you do please, please let me know!)
But, wouldn't this concept be great to spread colour on your dessert table, or to use as a placecard for your next formal event? I can't get enough of them! :)

UPDATE: Good news! You can get your hands on these cute stands via Upon a Fold for Australian readers - thanks Anne!

Caravan-ing in Style!

(image via Eat Drink Chic)
This caravan makes me want to put on a gingham dress, pop into that little caravan kitchen and prepare a meal! While it's a little old and doesn't travel real well these days, the owner has it available to hire for photo shoots! What a great prop for a party! Cute!

Graphic Design - Paper Vogue Logo

I get so encouraged and energised by being around creative people, business heads, just talking about possibilities and dream about 'what could be'. So much fun! And I feel so lucky to have a handful of close friends (close in friendship & location!) who are very talented in the creative arena too. They really inspire and encourage me in my own endeavours.
A little while ago now, I had the privilege of designing a logo for my friend Trish from Paper Vogue - she is a whizz at paper craft!
Logo I designed for Paper Vogue

Originally creating handmade invitations, she now has recently launched her own range of scrapbooking and designer patterned papers. Such a clever woman!

Check out her range on her website, and check out her tutorials and brilliant ideas here!
Don't know if you noticed my new banner? Getting ready for my new website, it's been crazy around my house this week...and it's only Tuesday! :)

Colour Career Counselor

Here's a little bit of fun for you! Take this Colour test and it will tell you what career your suited to based on what colours you are drawn to! I came up as 'organiser' & then designer. Cripes, you should see my work desk! So I did it again and picked different colours and got Designer with suggested careers such as interior, commercial or floral designer...that's better! :)
Give it a go and tell me what you think..
I discovered this via via How About Orange and Jessica mentioned it doesn't work in Safari, so try Firefox or Explorer.

'Kids Parties' Book of Inspiration...

So many times when I am brainstorming for an idea, I come back to one of my favourite books on my bookshelf (in the yellow section!).
It's written by Lisa Atwood and the beautiful photography is by Thayer Allyson Gowdy. It really brings the backyard party into the spotlight and has some really gorgeous ways of tying a party together with food, decorations & games to create a strong theme.  There are great chapters covering girly, boy-y, sports, winter, easter, & other holiday themes. It's a visual feast!

Oh and I've searched, and if anyone knows of Lisa Atwood's blog, I'd love to know about it!

Little Betsy Baker

Ok, so who loves real mail? me, me, me! And it's even better when it's a parcel right?!
Little Betsy Baker delivered some treats to my door recently. The nicest package I've had in a long time - I so love them! I reminded myself that I am not a chef, nor a cake decorator & so resisted buying everything in their store, but I did score a few things.

This Onesie textured cookie cutter I am going to use for my sisters baby shower coming up. Not sure how yet, but it *will* be used! And also these cute cupcake papers will match the theme beautifully.

Not sure how these will be used either - probably not for cupcakes, maybe for some other little treats. As you may be able to tell this baby shower is rolling around in my mind (and not a lot being resolved)!
