Why are there so many songs about rainbows...

Walking through the shops on the weekend, I realised that I am actually old! Oh yes...I have officially done a full cycle in fashion!! I thought the 80's died when I threw out my acid wash denim, hypercolour overalls, and crimping iron...but there it was in all it's fluro glory!


Not only recent fashion trends, but I have also noticed a resurgence in 80's characters over the past few years - transformers, strawberry shortcake, and...these guys. 


Do you remember Care Bears? I still have mine in my cupboard would you believe...a little faded, but still as chubby with a little heart on it's bottom!
I have been thinking of them a bit lately. Particularly when I see all these rainbow inspired parties popping up around the place. Maybe there will be a 'care bear' vibe invitation and party range coming....or maybe I'll just leave it in the 80's!

    The 80s will never die, Jordan! I, for one, will ensure that!!! :-) Nancy Drew and Sweet Valley High still live on for me...!!!
