FOOD FOR CHAMPIONS :: FATHERS DAY FREEBIE

It's not long till Fathers Day! Here in Canada, it's celebrated in June, so I thought I'd share what we did for Dave a few months back.
The way to a man's heart is, as we all know, food! So we made a box of some of Dave's favourite things to give him from the kids. Donut holes, snacks and some of his fave flavoured tea's from this aptly named shop!
Maybe these labels will come in handy at your place too. Whether it's a little something in addition to a gift, or you could amp it up and make it a complete gift on it's own.

FATHERS DAY HUNTING FREEBIE

It's time to get all masculine, grunt a few times and head into the great outdoors! 

We celebrated fathers day earlier in the year here in Canada, so this freebie is especially for all my Aussie friends & family. (Although you could pin and file it for next year if you're somewhere else in the world!) 

This new design was inspired by life at the lodge, surrounded by wildlife, and wilderness. A little hunting inspired, which I thought your dad's & husbands might enjoy for Fathers day next month. I even like it for a male birthday or something...would you like to see more in this design I wonder?

FATHERS DAY BBQ SAUCE PACK :: FREEBIE

WEEKENDING :: HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Here's a little something Levi and I put together for Dave for Fathers day. I found lots of his fave Canadian treats at Candy Time (for exhorbitant imported prices of course!). We packaged them up in this little crate and tied with a ribbon and a cute hand made note. It was a winner!

We spent the day just chilling, went to the foreshore for lunch then dinner with some friends.

What a dad, and what a perfect relaxing day after a big week!

FATHERS DAY :: FREE PRINTABLE

Dad's are notoriously hard to buy presents for. Agreed? I don't know the official stats, but there is a high percentage of dads that will be getting a gift card this year for father's day. Super easy; they can trot off and buy something they've had their eye on.

Often, these said gift cards, get pop into an envelope and handed to the father of the moment over breakfast in bed or lunch. So here's a little freebie to make that card just a little more special - a gift card pocket. Comes as a printable file for you to print, cut and fold, and with some space to include your own personal message.

Also, I just saw this chocolate poster idea from Pen 'n' Paper Flowers today and thought it would be great adapted for fathers day...I have a dad and husband who'd demolish this no problems!

Fathers Day Printable

Father's day kind of sneaks up on me every year. (Australian fathers day is this weekend) I think it is partly procrastination. I find men are often so hard to buy for. Actually...let me  re-phrase that. Every guy would love a new boat, a car, jet ski etc, so really they're so hard to buy *inexpensive* for!
