SING YOUR OWN SONG

I was lamenting about a slow week in the shop recently (and wondering when I would be discovered and my book deal would arrive in the mail!) When I took the time to stop, go through some photos and remember some customers pics & photo shoots I'd been a part of late last year.

It's such a good reminder to reflect on the happenings in my business, especially when I feel like things aren't growing. They really are, and it's really exciting! I just have to look for it, not get distracted, but keep singing my own song. Here's just a few of the fun shoots and custom work I helped with. UNDER THE SEA :: CUSTOMER PARTY

It's a customer party today, from under the sea! Do you remember this custom invite I designed and asked for you to help Kristy, and pick your favourite?

Well, her son had a wonderful 1st birthday party last month and she's allowed me to share a few photos with you.

 There was sea creature cookie decorating, lots of fun and games and scrumptious looking food! I love the idea of using the cookie bag toppers as a name tag while their cookie creations dried - clever mum thinking!

JUNGLE SAFARI :: CUSTOMER PARTY

 

 

I recently created a whole collection of printables based on this birthday invite and baby shower invite for a customer, Velly. I love the soft khaki colours and of course the little animals of this design - a personal favourite.

I was so impressed with the photos Velly sent through of her son Brayden's first birthday. Thanks for making my paper goods look so good! You created a lovely party for your son - great memories!

SHAR'S SWIM & SODA PARTY :: CUSTOMER PARTY

I have had quite the flurry of custom party stationery orders lately. It's been fun. The wave seems to have subsided a little, and now the fun part of seeing how all your parties came together are coming into my inbox.





Tash wanted a retro style 'Swim and Soda' party for her daughter, with ice cream, 'soda's' and lots of summer splashing! I designed this 'retro' inspired invite, buffet labels, thank you tags and even sunscreen bottle label for her.
She created an authentic surf/beach atmosphere on the day, complete with heaps of sand and their personal life guards! Her daughter has some allergies, so I loved how she made scrumptious things the birthday girl and everyone else can enjoy too!

Tash is an old friend I haven't seen face to face in a long time (so, thank you Facebook!). She puts in a lot of detail and effort into making family life sweet for her children and husband, and is always creating little celebrations amongst the everyday. Love your work Tash!
