Real Life – The Big 3-0!

So I am officially now in my 30's! Arrrggh. Numbers and age aren't a big deal for me...normally.  I have an awesome family & friends & I have taken many adventurous opportunities in life. It's been a full and satisfying 30 years. But there is something about this 30 mark. No longer can I say I am 'in my twenties', 'middle age' is coming nearer, and I'm moving up an age bracket when completing forms! 


But, 30 is so worth celebrating! And so celebrate I did. I had a lovely birthday weekend. I went to Max Brenner with 'the girls' on saturday night. Yum!

   Then breakfast on Sunday with my husband and little guy. And dinner with my family. I squeezed in a little afternoon treat at the cupcake shop too. Lj's looked so cute! 

Back into the new week today a little older, very happy and with a big blog week planned! I have some good news about my online store coming too...finally! 

Winter Olympics Party

So who loves the Olympics? We had an 'opening ceremony' party on the weekend to watch the kick off of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Everyone decided to come as a competing country (but not Australian) and bring & wear something from the chosen country. There was Switzerland with fondue, Germany with sausage and beer steins, the UK with bowler hats and Union Jacks, Canada with patriotic cupcakes & cinnamon buns. 

Everyone really got into it, and was a lot of fun! Hope you all had a lovely weekend too. 

This week is Baby shower week for me, so expect to see some 'work in progress' this week here when you stop by...

Feature Print – ‘Grace’

Meet Grace - A candy-striped, polkadot-ed, princess-pink birthday invitation. What girl wouldn’t want to give this invitation to all her friends!

This invitation was originally designed for my niece's 10th birthday party. She had a 'dress in pink' party with cupcake decorating, pink lemonade, and some outdoor games just to spice it up. It was a fun afternoon!


Text & large number can be personalised to match the occasion. The invite is a postcard (equivalent to A6 or 4” x 6”) size, and has matching 'Polkadot Party Dots' available which would also be personalised.

As I mentioned, my website is about to get a big facelift. It has had a ‘online store coming soon’ sign on it for far too long. And it’s now time to get it all happening so you can purchase your goodies online, 24/7!

It’s a big job - bigger than I first anticipated. My October deadline came and went, but now the goal of having it up and running by the New Year, seems it may be a reality.

Last weekend, I had a little photo shoot of the sample prints that will be featured throughout the site.
