CHRISTMAS WRAPPING :: PINNED

Christmas Wrapping - Gold & White Christmas Wrapping - Kraft Black Christmas Wrapping - White & Red Christmas Wrapping - Nature
I'm not one to fuel commercialism that starts Christmas prep in August, so I made a vow to myself to not 'pin' anything Christmas related till October. But now that October is already half way over...look out! (You can follow my Christmas board.)
I know there is still lots of 'fall' parties happening around my neck of the woods, and I am still working on a couple of project of this season to share with you, but I love Christmas! I'm already thinking colours, menu and decor. I love all these wrapping colour combo's...so many different flavours for the one season. Do you have a set theme for the Christmas in your home?

HAPPY PLACES :: PAPER YA

When we were at Granville Island, I visited an awesome paper shop, Paper Ya. I could have spent ages browsing! It was one of those shops that you buy things just becuase they look so pretty up on the shelf! I came away with a cute little purse and some pretty paper.

It inspired me to get back into market stalls...or dreaming even bigger...my own bricks and mortar shop. I'd love to stock paper goods, party products all in a beautiful building with pretty decor. Maybe even mixed in with some baked goods...ooo that would be perfect! I've even got a store front Pinterest board of inspiration. Do you have a store-front dream? What would it look like? LODGE PINNED

Photobucket

Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I think I had the best day yesterday since moving here. Spent in town; church, park, lunch, shops, dinner, home. It was a little bit of perfect!

This week I'm really trying to pull together my ideas for this lodge and the look I think that works the best. Trying to not get carried away my too many options but staying true to my original concepts. Here are a few key pieces that keep me on track. I'm thinking light, airy with glass and a few wicker and timber elements. Neutrals with texture I think.

The biggest thing now is to track down some shops that stock this kind of thing. If I was in Australia, I'd know exactly where to go. But here...I'm such a newbie. I need your help! What are some great stores here in Canada for this style of thing? Thanks in advance!

PINTEREST CHRISTMAS

Photobucket
I have my last Christmas craft air drying at the moment. It is for our Christmas table, so I'll share with you after Christmas day, on how it all comes together. It was inspired by an idea I found on Pinterest.
Such a resourceful place to browse (and "waste" time!) I can get off on so many tangents, discover new blogs and inspiring people.
I thought I'd share a few of my favourite Christmas pins I've collected. There is definitely a red & white and navy scandinavian vibe going on in my Christmas board!
Are you all ready for Sunday? The presents are mostly all wrapped up at our place and final preparations are happening - exciting!!
